""Umer and vuskers"; death and resurrection. It's not clear what are the roots of this painting. Excision of a giant life-work that runs via war, moving house, cosmopolitism and uniqueness. Along the ledges of Stalin's madness, the confusion in the Middle-East and the versatile European culture. Finally this panel is made in The Hague. The image, cut out a miniature of only a few centimetres is blown up to the size of 25 x 35 cm. Made in a modest moment it enlarges the certainty of choice and belief. Hope for reincarnation. "
